If they aren’t rated for a continuous heavy load, you’re going to see them burn out at the terminals, and nobody wants that mid-shift. The good news? Since they run on 220V, they plug right into most industrial grids. No bulky, expensive step-down transformers needed. Why carbon? Most people are used to old-school metallic coils, but carbon is a different beast. Instead of just heating the air, it sends out infrared radiation that actually sinks deep into your material. It’s fast. Really fast. You’ll notice the warm-up time practically vanishes compared to traditional elements. We wrap that carbon filament in high-purity quartz to keep it safe and get that heat moving quickly. But a word of caution:quartz is fragile. It hates vibration.
