But with carbon fiber filaments? You aren’t sitting around waiting for the tube to glow. The heat starts almost the second you flip the switch. If you’re running a drying or curing line, that speed is everything. It shaves seconds off your cycle, and those seconds add up to a lot of extra product by the end of the shift. Built to actually last We wrapped the element in high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because we want the IR waves to fly straight through to your workpiece, not get trapped in the glass. And here is the best part: carbon fiber doesn’t freak out when it gets hot. Tungsten tends to sag or warp after you’ve cycled it a few times. Carbon fiber stays put. It keeps its shape and keeps its focus, so you don’t have to keep adjusting your equipment. A few things to watch out for This lamp fits into most standard 600mm housings, making it an easy swap. It’s a beast for things like PET bottle blowing or welding plastics where you just need a quick, intense hit of heat. But a word of caution. 1000W puts out a lot of heat—not just where you want it, but everywhere. If you cram these into a tight, closed oven, you’re going to have a problem. You might melt your wiring or fry your sensors. Make sure your ventilation is actually doing its job. Also, double-check your connectors. Make sure they can handle the current, or you’ll be dealing with burnt-out terminals.
