It handles higher temperatures without breaking a sweat, which means your lamps hit their operating temp way faster. It’s a huge win for your workflow. You spend less time waiting for the machine to warm up and less money on wasted material during startup. It just works. The glass and the glow We used clear quartz for the envelope. No coatings, no fuss. This lets the short-wave infrared heat blast straight through to your product. The cool part? Carbon fiber emitters don’t get as scorching hot on the surface as tungsten does, but they’re incredibly precise with their heat. You get a deep, penetrating warmth that heats the core of your workpiece without burning the outside to a crisp. And since it’s quartz, you don’t have to worry about the glass cracking when you’re cycling the power on and off in a fast-paced production line. It’s tough. A few things to keep in mind You can usually slide these right into your existing high-wattage arrays. It’s a pretty simple swap. But—and this is important—2500W is a lot of power. Double-check your wiring gauge and your contactors. You don’t want your wires overheating because the load is too heavy. One more thing: these lamps are bright. Like, really bright.
