Carbon Fiber Halogen Heating Lamps: The Heat Behind Pet Equipment
Here’s the thing: we built this carbon fiber heating lamp from the ground up to be a serious heat source for pet gear. Forget the idea of it being some everyday household bulb. This is a proper industrial heater, designed to crank out fast, controllable heat in spaces where every inch counts.
Power, Voltage, and Size: The Real-World Numbers
We’re talking a 400V, 2500W setup packed into a 300mm tube. That kind of wattage means the temperature shoots up almost instantly. But, and this is important, it also means you need a circuit that can handle the punch. The length, on the other hand, is all about practicality. Keeping it to 300mm means it slides into tight spots and snug housings without forcing you to redesign the whole thing.
What’s Inside: Quartz, Halogen, and a Smart Connection
Inside, you’ve got a carbon fiber filament living inside a quartz tube, surrounded by a halogen gas mix. That halogen does some quiet, steady work—it keeps the filament temperature stable and stops the tube from blackening over time. So the heat output stays consistent, cycle after cycle. The quartz tube itself is tough. It handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it stays clear enough to let you visually check what’s going on. And for the connection, we went with an R7s base. It’s a straightforward, secure fit that makes swapping the lamp out a simple, drop-in job.
Built for Pets: Heat That Turns On and Stays Steady
When you’re dealing with pet heating—incubators, warming enclosures, drying systems—you need heat that responds immediately and holds steady. This lamp delivers concentrated infrared energy with almost no warm-up delay. Just keep one thing in mind: that 2500W rating brings serious heat density. You’ll need proper thermal management and enough ventilation to keep everything around it from getting too hot. This is a tough, high-output heater, built for one thing: giving you reliable temperature control in the pet equipment that matters.
